Rods are constructed of a Tri-core, Toray Japan Carbon Fiber blank that is designed to easily lift (pitch) the jig as opposed to single core single density blanks that tend to bend and bend without sufficient lifting strength. Recovery is instant and there is zero shake in the blank.
Using different densities of C/F allows us to retain the crispness and lifting feel of a hollow rod in a blank that is more fun to fish, more parabolic and far stronger and less fragile than a hollow one.
Our model 56-6 is lab tested to over 77 pounds of breaking strength at a 45 degree fighting angle.
