Nicknamed the “TOUGH LIGHT MONSTER²” by Daiwa in Japan, the SEABORG G400J takes the proven 400-size electric reel platform and turns up the horsepower.
At only 600 grams, the G400J combines a compact, lightweight body with the torque and durability needed for demanding offshore fishing.
At the heart of the reel is Daiwa's MAGMAX-G motor, engineered to deliver approximately 4× the motor durability of the standard MAGMAX system used in the base 400J platform, while providing quick response and serious winding power.
Whether you're deep dropping, electric jigging, or targeting amberjack, yellowfin tuna, tilefish and other powerful offshore species, the G400J brings big-reel capability into an incredibly compact package.
